How the boards work, so they're honest.

For bragging rights, not prizes

There's nothing to win here, no money, no prizes, nothing of value, so this isn't a lottery or a prize draw, and nothing you could pay for ever changes your ranking.

The boards

Today's Daily is the official board: one puzzle, one attempt, verified on the server. Your best is your own personal record on the ladder, separate, and not a head-to-head ranking. Friends is people you brought in or added. Season, on push-your-luck titles, is your best 20 of the last 30, because a single day can't judge a game where nerve matters.

Nothing gets into the Daily

The Daily is the same for everyone. Nothing can be bought, gifted or earned into it, no hints, skips or extra tries, for anyone, ever.

Scoring and fair play

Correctness first, time only as a tiebreak. No countdown, no penalty for being slow. Using a bot or a solver gets your entries removed and the submission voided, the Daily is verified on the server for exactly this reason.

Flags

A country flag shows only if you chose to add one. It's declared by you, optional, and changes nothing but the little picture next to your name.
